Hi people, i just want to introduce you Gecko2D, a framework to create 2d games.

The architecture it’s a kind of Entity-Component-System but (thanks to the haxe macros system) it’s pretty flexible and if you want to use it in a object oriented way, you can.

The idea behind this frameworks is to have a foundation to make games easily, but in a flexible way, so if i want use it in a gam jam, or in a long project gecko will be the right choice. Think on it as a "lego blocks", you have a base, and you can grab just the blocks you need to create something unique, big or small.

The API will remain stable without big changes now, but i'll working on it to improve and add new features, and on improve the documentation, add examples online, etc...

Pull Requests or suggestions are very welcome.

    Thanks

Hi people! I have a little issue drawing images using floats (html5).
    0_1519763843341_Captura de pantalla 2018-02-27 a las 20.36.14.png

The button's size it's 49x49 and the first it's draw at x:150 y:150, the second it's at x:200.5 and y:200.5. It's possible to draw the second button equals to the first using float coords?

    Thanks!

Kha it's pretty strong and powerful to make games like that, you will have not troubles with it. For now kha doesn't have big "projects" as showcase, but keep in mind the fact that kha it's a relatively new tech, in a few months, a year or so i'm pretty sure kha will have a bunch of good games using it, maybe one os them will be yours 🙂
