    @Robert, Ok, thanks for the info, indeed, it seems too complicated to me ... I just lost 3 days .. I'm going back to OpenFL 😁

    @Robert said in Discovery of Kha today and my report ..:

    Kha n'est explicitement pas conçu pour les développeurs flash

    Is Kha not ideal for Flash Player, or not ideal for AS3 (flash) programmers?

    Otherwise, I tried several things, it is by starting from the empty Github project that I no longer have a problem, I was even able to create a purple rectangle in html and display it on port 8080 .. lol
    The code is a little strange for me, but I will look at the little documentation to see .. if the syntax is close to Haxe, the Framework looks very different.

    @Robert
    If the generated code is good, why is it giving me an error directly? (on Assets) and why an F5 test does not work? And why again when I load the Empty example from Ghithub, does it work? I think that the Kode Studio program should be reprogrammed in a classical logic., We launch the Kode IDE and it asks with a modal popup with 2 buttons: "open" and "new" .. then that everything is set up automatically . ("new" would open the file manager).
    without having to go through the "init project" routine

    @Robert , yes Assets.hx exist well at this place.
    My version of Kode is 18.11.0 (it's the last)
    the plugin or the "init project" file in the panel, where is it located on the disc? I imagine in the codes of Kode Studio, it is an exe, an xml that Kode uses? What's her name?

    @Robert Oui, je l'ai trouvé.. 😃
    I do it again to be sure without using git ..
    I load a directory, everything is fine, no errors,
    I initialize my project, I have this:

    alt text

    Now only, I have the Khafile.js.
    If I do show errors, I get:
    alt text
    And if I try to do F5, it doesn't work either.
    alt text
    And:

    {

    So no, I don't want to compile for Flash, but for HTML5 🙂

    @Robert Hi, it was the loading of a project.
    alt text
    Show error gives this errors
    alt text
    a concern of path or I do not know. I couldn't compile. But as the Empty example on Github worked well, I did various tests like copying the contents of the directory to a new one (without Empty.hx of course) and there it also worked, so it was clear that the problem came from there. I read the documentation on Github and no longer on the tutorials, which led me to find a more efficient and reliable way to initialize my project. I no longer had an error. That's all for the moment. I will continue to try to understand how it all works.
    I no longer seek to code for Flash (otherwise, I would use Flashdevelop) but to code like for flash but for HTML (canvas or WebGL). I will probably come back very soon .. haha 😆

    I search for Khafile.js to see..
    Edit: I don't find this file.. 😞

    @Robert, Cool, I ended up finding an initialization of projects by git which will always be up to date. Kind of like a CDN. it was therefore a concern for the template which was too old in Kode. errors, I placed pictures every time error ..;) Ha yes, I put twice the same, I was wrong in the catches
    from the empty directory of a new project, you must execute "git init" which will place a git file, and then "git submodule add https://github.com/Kode/Kha.git" which will put the complete template up to date from Git.
    Then we open it in Kode and everything is fine 🙂
    It remains to find a tip to replace the path make - init with this git system. anyone coding the source of Kode Studio should consider adding this Git statement to Kode preferences.
    Okay, finished for today ..
    Another question by the way, all other classes that I will create must be in "source"? because on the tutorial that I folowing, well my class did not work however I copy / paste the code ..

    I think it's probably a template issue. the Empty template is on Github, therefore, probably up to date and compatible with the whole, which would explain why it works +/- well, because the Graphic 1 part of the tutorial does not work either, however I just copy / paste the code in the Empty class. maybe Kode Studio should be updated on the template side.

    @Robert So here, I progress a little, I managed to get a black window with this tutorial: t.ly/O6R3L
    But I don't see how I can create another project, example "myProject" if I open Kode, I do 'file> open folder' and I create a directory, and then I initialize it, it doesn't does not work. I have errors. and compilation 'F5' does not work.

    I'm sorry to block at this point, but kha seems much more complicated than AS3 for flashplayer. If the player was still supported by default by browsers, I would continue in AS3.
    how to start creating a new project, add a hello world, or draw a red circle and compile it for HTML?😞
    Thereafter, I will need to understand the event model.The day I understand Kha well, I can consider helping development, just for the doc or tutorials.😜
